Sales Representative
Qualification Criteria
- The incumbent needs to exercise sound judgment, with a high sense of integrity, and act consistently and fairly when dealing with matters.
- The incumbent should be au-fait with all related policies and procedures to be fully equipped in dealing with matters.
- The incumbent must be able to operate at a strategic level with the ability to function independently and in a team and portray self-confidence with sufficient emotional resilience to deal with rejection.
- The incumbent must possess the ability to adapt and respond to situations in the business arena, which can be volatile and threatening to the overall relationship.
- Skills relevant to the job include education or experience, specialized training, personal characteristics, or abilities.
- BSc or Diploma in Agriculture
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Present company agricultural services to the existing databases as well as new potential clients and identify sales prospects within your area.
- Write up of sales contracts for new customers.
- Schedule appointments and visit existing customers to review needs and determine other opportunities requires travel.
- Provide services quotes as required.
- Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
- Manage account services through Quality checks.
- Identify and resolve client concerns.
- Continuously update customers regarding services changes, and modifications.
- Prepare a variety of status reports, including visits, activities, proposals, new business, volumes, etc.
- Follow-up visits to the clients to be sure that all services is functioning the way it is supposed to and be sure the client is still satisfied.
- Keeping up to date on new products, services, procedures, and tools by attending training and departmental meetings.
- Debtors’ management - Management of customer account payments to ensure credit tern are adhered to.
- Monthly sales performance presentations.
- Weekly prospect list reporting
- Weekly logbook reporting
- Other duties as assigned by management.
